Small Things Like These

Small Things Like These review by Con

Youth #Gottit View:

It’s really important to support movies like ‘Small Things Like These’ – so that future generations will know these all important true stories in years to come. As always, Cillian Murphy gives an incredible performance in this thought provoking movie. It will be useful going in, with a bit of knowlege on the events at the Magadaline Laundries before seeing the film – but this is a really good movie!!!

DC Comics – Joker Folie à Deux review by Con

In Cinemas 4/10/24 (15) 4 Stars

Youth #Gottit View:

This movie is outstanding – but I can see it being Marmite with some cinemagoers. Packed with incredible performances, and unlike any DC movie you will have ever seen. If you love this film, you will really love it. But if you hate it, I can also see why you hated it too. For all the same reasons I loved it. There’s no middleground with Joker Folie à Deux!!!

Youth #Gottit View:

For a film that didnt need a sequel, this is a fun second outing. Has everything we all love about classic Burton movies and some great performances from the all star cast. Halloween has come early!!!

Harrison & Con at the Withnail and I 4K Launch Screening!!!

Withnail and I available for the first time on 4K. Please be aware that altough this film is a classic and absolutly brilliant, some of the verbal content in very much from the period it was set/made and Youth #Gottit would never use that language or consider those views appropriate.

These movies are always a cinematic festivity not to be missed, and a must see on the huge IMAX screen for the best experience. If you’ve never seen a MAD Max movie on the big screen then you’re in for a treat!!!

In IMAX cinemas on 24th May 2024, the epic action blockbuster will see young Furiosa [Anya Taylor-Joy] fall into the hands of a great biker horde led by the warlord Dementus [Chris Hemsworth]. As the two tyrants fight for dominance, Furiosa soon finds herself in a nonstop battle to make her way home.

Youth #Gottit View:

Its very interesting this new addition to the Mad Max Saga. I’m a lifelong Mad Max fan. I liked Furisosa – but didn’t love it. It’s a great movie, but I feel like I’ve seen it all before. But Con loved it and he’s never seen a Mad Max movie on the big screen and was blown away by the experience.
