Con Talks to Disney Lorcana Artist Anna Stosik!!!

Con Talks to Disney Lorcana Artist Anna Stosik!!! (Anna’s profile on the official Disney Lorcana website CLICK HERE!!!)

Which Disney character were you most excited to see get a Lorcana card and why? (Connor age 18)

Anna Stosik – For me that was Mushu from Disney Mulan – I know many people were waiting for Mushu to come to Lorcana, I was the Set lead Art Director on Archazia’s island and that was the first time we were able to introduce Mushu – It was really exciting, he’s such a beautiful and fun character, but we also were able to get  the original character designer – Tom Bancroft, to paint the card for us, which made it really special!

What card that you created are you most proud of and why? (Connor age 18)

Anna Stosik – I’m really honoured that I got to Illustrate the first enchanted Disney Dumbo inspired card – the Ninth Wonder of the Universe – I love drawing animals and I’m thrilled that the card got so popular!

Have you ever left an easter egg or Disney reference within the artwork of a cards art? And if so, what was it? (Connor age 18)

Anna Stosik – I have not – but many Lorcana artists hide little Disney Mickey Mouse images in their cards – I think it’s fun to try to find all of them.

If you had your own ‘Anna StosikLorcana card, what abilities would you have? (Connor age 18)

Anna Stosik – That’s a tricky question – I think maybe ‘rush’, because I’m honestly not a super patient person

Of all of the cards you’ve ever drawn came alive today, which character would you most want to hang out with? And what would you do together? (Connor age 18)

Anna Stosik – I’d definitely hang out with Moana/Vaiana, She’s my favourite Disney princess! I’d love to have a lunch together and hear more about her adventures

Could you draw a Disney character blindfolded? And who do you think you would be most successful with, drawing them blindfolded? (Connor age 18)

Anna Stosik – Haha, I never really tried before, But I’d say Heihei from Disney Moana/Vaiana would be my safest bet, because I sketched him a few times and he’s o iconic – Sadly I think I couldn’t paint a Lorcana card Blindfolded

The Heihei sketch Anna illustrated with her eye’s closed for Youth #Gottit!!!

The Bride

The Bride review by Con

In Cinemas 6/3/26 (15) 2.5 Stars

Youth #Gottit View:

Talk about Marmite. Me and Con have very differing opinions on this movie. I thought it was incredible and both Buckley and Bale were excellent. But the styling of the film wasn’t quite to Con’s taste, although he didn’t hate it. As a film fan I’d highly recommend going to see The Bride as it’s one of those movies that you’ll likely want to have an opinion on as a piece of filmmaking – and you can’t really have an opinion unless you’ve seen it. Love it or hate it – The Bride is ‘Deffo’ gonna be one of the Pub table film debate movies of 2026. It’s Arthouse horror more than Popcorn Horror and well worth a watch!!!!
